Guided tour of the Nusbaumer distillery

Founded in 1947, the Jos Nusbaumer artisanal distillery is located in Steige, at the bottom of the Villé valley, in the magnificent natural setting of the Alsatian Vosges mountains. Our specialty is the distillation of fruit and wild berry brandies, as well as the production of fruit and plant liqueurs; but also spirits such as gin and whisky.
As a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship, we have received the Living Heritage Company label, renewed in 2025.

With nearly 80 years of experience, we would be delighted to share our expertise with you by opening our doors. You will be accompanied by a member of the distillery team who will explain the entire process of making eaux-de-vie, liqueurs, and creams during a guided tour of approximately one hour.
