Breitenbach
Procession and open-air mass
As every year since the end of the First World War, a torchlit procession will lead from the Church of Saint Gall to the grotto erected in 1913 in a small valley at the northern edge of the village. The priest at the time and the parishioners had promised to organize this procession every year on the Feast of the Assumption if the village was spared from bombing, a promise that has been kept to this day.
Blessing of the new chapel bell.
