Passing on mining heritage has always been the raison d'être of ASEPAM (Speleological Association for the Study and Protection of Ancient Mines). In addition to its archaeological research conducted for nearly 40 years, the association invites you year-round to delve into this history by discovering the Saint-Louis Eisenthür and Gabe Gottes silver mines!
Prepare to take a leap back in time as you wander through these galleries carved 500 years ago, just as the miners left them! During these underground walks, you will discover the exceptional world of these Renaissance workers, their history, their techniques, their working and living conditions... An authentic experience, full of adventure and discovery, in a natural setting.
Visit L'Aventure des Mines, the association's reception and exhibition space, in the city center of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines!
