The Micro-Folie - digital museum

The Micro-Folie is an innovative concept offering a digital museum accessible to all. Launched by La Villette in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and 12 national institutions, it brings together more than 3200 high-definition digitized works from prestigious museums such as the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, and the Centre Pompidou. This project aims to democratize access to culture through a flexible and engaging space where visitors can freely explore masterpieces using interactive tablets or organize group tours with a guided experience.

The Micro-Folie of the Villé valley is itinerant and includes a digital museum as well as a games library.

The digital museum allows visitors to discover, in digital form, works of art located in cultural institutions in France and abroad (paintings, sculptures, music, theater, etc.). Using tablets connected to a screen displaying the artworks, it is possible to learn more about them and to view them in very high definition independently.

The toy library offers fun activities that blend entertainment and art. Coloring pages of paintings, a Timeline game with artworks, educational kits with ready-to-use activities, and much more!
