Fouchy
Church of St. John the Baptist
In the heart of the village, perched on an east-west promontory, stands the church with its massive, square tower built of dressed stone with quoins. Capped by a ribbed "helmet" surmounted by a square bell tower with four clock faces, it resembles a keep. The church houses a Martin Rinkenbach organ (1896) with two 56-note manuals and a 27-note pedalboard. Apart from one stop, the organ is original, which is rare.
