Hilfskapelle Chapel

After the construction of Saint Giles Church, to spare the faithful the climb up the hill during the week and in winter, the conversion of the barn adjoining the presbytery into a place of worship was considered. A temporary chapel, or "Hilfskapelle," was established there in 1867.
