Open doors at the artisans' workshops in the Villé Valley
On Sunday, September 19th, an open day will be held at the workshops of Alsatian artisans, and particularly at those in the Villé Valley.
Among our 250 companies, 17 are opening their doors to you to showcase their expertise and inspire you to buy local!
Our territory boasts a rich artisanal and industrial diversity that provides no less than 1200 jobs across the entire Villé valley.
In addition to revealing their secrets, the companies will undoubtedly be a valuable resource for young people who may find themselves interested in training opportunities to join our craftsmen's teams.
Each year, this day sees the birth of new vocations and future prospects.
The last edition dates from 2016 and was entitled: a meeting with the artisans of the Villé Valley.
This year, as in 2016, this event is organised by the community of communes of the Villé valley and the chamber of trades of Alsace.
The municipalities of Bassemberg, Dieffenbach-au-Val, Neuve-Eglise, Howharth/Saint-Pierre-Bois, Thanvillé, Saint-Maurice, Steige, Triembach-au-Val and Villé will be represented.
As you pass through these villages you will be welcomed by the following artisans:
– Josephine's Delights: compotes, jams, syrups and gingerbread (6 rue Rutel in Bassemberg).
– Massenez Distillery: production of distilled alcoholic beverages, fruit brandies and liqueurs (1 Haechy industrial zone in Dieffenbach).
– Haas Leopold: public works (4 rue Jean-Louis Guiot in Neuve-Eglise).
– Meyer Distillery: artisan distiller (18 rue Saint Gilles in Hohwarth, Saint-Pierre-Bois).
– Meca-Auto 67: car garage (40 rue de l'église in Thanvillé).
– Guth Microbrewery: production of craft beers (10 main street in Saint-Maurice).
– Garage Guth: car garage, service station (Villé road in Saint-Maurice).
– Les Délices du Chênesire: farm ice cream (73 Grand Rue in Steige).
– Bruno Menuiserie: carpentry (8 rue haute in Steige).
– Rustiporte Lavigne: carpentry and cabinetmaking (41 Grand Rue in Steige).
– Vonderscher Joinery: joinery and fitting (13 rue du Climont in Triembach-au-Val).
– Menu Passion: resin flooring installation (exhibited at Les délices de Joséphine, 6 rue Rutel in Bassemberg).
– Garage Mattern: vehicle repair and sales (1 rue de Hohwarth in Triembach-au-Val).
– ID Renovation – ID Construction: layout and wholesale bio-sourced French products (ZI rue du Climont in Triembach-au-Val).
– Pain et Compagnie: bakery and pastry shop (3 rue du Mont Sainte Odile in Villé).
– Berger Closures: supply and installation of exterior joinery (6 rue du Climont in Villé).
– IBS France: thermal insulation by sprayed polyurethane (exhibiting at Fermetures de la vallée, (6 rue du Climont in Villé).
– The FabLab L'inspirateur workshop (16 rue Louis Pasteur in Villé).
Between tastings, demonstrations, and discovering these crafts, we hope that meeting the artisans of the valley will inspire you to work with them for your...ufuture projects or that the youngest members of your families will have been captivated by a professional world presented.
