Towards the "Destination of Excellence" label
Awarded the "Qualité Tourisme" label since 2010, the Villé Valley Tourist Office embarked on this process at the initiative of its team, with the support of its partners. This deliberate choice represented both a collective challenge and a source of genuine pride: the pride of having the value of our professions and the high standards of hospitality we have set for ourselves recognized. The team now aspires to the "Destination d'Excellence" (Destination of Excellence) label.
We pride ourselves on providing impeccable service to every visitor. Our commitments are based on six essential values: attentive listening, a focus on customer satisfaction, a passion for our work, teamwork and development, daily kindness, and respect for the environment.

A CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach serving the destination
Committed since 2023 to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, the Villé Valley Office is working to reconcile tourist attractiveness, preservation of the territory and the well-being of residents, partners and teams.
Structured around the period 2023–2025, this approach is based on a commitment to continuous improvement, transparency, and cooperation with all stakeholders in the region. It has resulted in concrete actions regarding waste reduction, limiting environmental impact, supporting local partners, and developing a more responsible tourism offering.
Today, the Office is continuing this momentum through a new strategic cycle (2026-2028) structured around six main axes.
Responsible and shared governance
This approach is fully integrated into the Office's strategy and operations. Monitoring indicators, opportunities for discussion, and an annual review allow for the evaluation of actions taken and the involvement of stakeholders in key strategic directions.
Preserve the environment and resources
The Office is taking action to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities. Monitoring consumption, reducing printed materials, limiting waste, promoting soft mobility and raising awareness of environmental issues are among the actions implemented to encourage responsible practices.
Promoting employee well-being and engagement
The Office strives to provide a respectful and stimulating work environment that fosters training, skills development, and internal dialogue. Quality of work life and work-life balance are ongoing priorities.
Promoting responsible and accessible tourism
The Tourist Office promotes a sustainable and accessible tourism offering for the widest possible audience. It highlights soft mobility options, short supply chains and outdoor activities, while ensuring a balance between tourist appeal and the quality of life for residents.
Developing partnerships and responsible purchasing
In its purchasing and collaboration choices, the Office prioritizes local and regional stakeholders and encourages ethical practices. This approach aims to support the local economy, strengthen short supply chains, and build sustainable partnerships that benefit the region.
Strengthening local roots and social utility
As an active participant in local life, the Office supports community, cultural, and social initiatives and promotes residents and the skills and expertise of the region. This dynamic helps strengthen social bonds, fosters a sense of belonging, and enhances the long-term appeal of the Villé Valley.
Vineyards & Discoveries: a label of excellence serving wine tourism
Created by Atout France, the Vignobles & Découvertes label distinguishes wine destinations that offer a comprehensive and high-quality tourism experience centered around vines and wine. Accommodation, restaurants, cellars, museums, events, and leisure activities are all united by a common goal: to offer visitors an authentic, friendly, and professional experience in the world of vineyards.
For several years, the Villé Valley has been proud to hold the "Vineyards & Discoveries" label, in recognition of its commitment to responsible, accessible wine tourism rooted in its terroir. This label highlights the richness of our mountain vineyards, the expertise of our winemakers, and the warm welcome extended to visitors.
Around twenty local partners – accommodation providers, restaurateurs, winemakers, producers and visitor sites – share this dynamic and are involved in bringing the “Vineyards & Discoveries” experience to life on a daily basis, respecting quality, heritage and conviviality.

Accueil Vélo: a label for cyclists and those who welcome them
The Accueil Vélo label is a national brand that guarantees cycle tourists a quality welcome, tailored services, and infrastructure designed to meet their needs. It identifies establishments located near a cycle route and committed to offering a warm welcome and specific services: secure bike shelters, repair equipment, practical information, personalized advice, etc.
The Villé Valley Tourist Office actively supports this initiative and assists local stakeholders in obtaining the label. By promoting this label, we affirm our commitment to making the Valley a welcoming destination for cyclists, whether they are just passing through or staying longer, seeking nature, heritage, or exciting experiences.
Accommodation providers, restaurants, tourist sites and bicycle repair shops are gradually joining this movement to offer cycling enthusiasts a comfortable, smooth experience adapted to the requirements of cycling.
