An IGN map for the entire valley
To allow you to hike light in the Valley and its surroundings, we have had a custom IGN map produced through the IGN website. You will no longer need to buy and carry the 3 or 4 maps required to cover the area.
This map format will allow you to hike within a perimeter extending, to the north, from the village of Barr to Saulxures/Saint-Blaise la Roche, and to the south, from Bergheim to the Col de Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. You can take advantage of the Club Vosgien trail markers crisscrossing our beautiful valley, and also explore neighboring valleys. You can plan multi-day itineraries and thus experience the joys of hiking in a region boasting numerous accommodations including guesthouses, farm inns, and restaurants.
